The Associate Provost for Academic Programs has responsibility for university-wide programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and provides leadership for academic initiatives in pursuit of excellence. Academic programs at ISU are designed to enable students to advance personally, professionally and intellectually.

In addition, the Associate Provost for Academic Programs has responsibility for assessment and systematic academic program improvement at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In collaboration with academic units and student affairs, he leads recruitment and retention efforts for both undergraduate and graduate students.
